This week at Taylored Expressions we're introducing elements to make your cards light up, move, squish, tear, and more! Oh what fun we're going to have with these Interactive elements!!!
If you participated at the March 2025 Virtual Stamp Joy event, then you already got a glimpse and possibly created a fun card using the Up, Up and Away die set. This fun hot air balloon die set is now part of the Taylored Expressions catalog for everyone to enjoy.
Here's a fun interactive card I made using the Up, Up and Away die set.

For the background I stamped the Cloud Nine embossing folder with Salt Water Taffy ink then ran it through my die cutting machine with a piece of Sugar Cube card stock. This gave me the blue "sky" around the puffy clouds. Since I embossed the background I had to use some thick adhesive tape to adhere that panel to the front of my card base so the interactive piece had room to slide up and down.
For my next project I used the Pout & Polish die set which was originally released during the In Person Stamp Joy event in Iowa in October 2025.

This fun card features a 'squishy' bottle of nail polish on a bright, colorful background using the Bold Brushstrokes Layering Stencil and a few of my favorite pink inks.
Next up I used the newly added Mirror Mats. This is something I requested over a year ago when Pick Your Pairings sets were released in December 2024. If you look closely at my Mermaid card, you'll see that I did a mirror effect with one of the little fish. So needless to say, I'm stoked that we now have an official Mirror Image stamp from Taylored Expressions.
Here's a card I made using the Mirror Mat along with the new Critter Crew ~ Turtle stamp and die set. The Critter Crew stamps will be included with every order, every month of 2026 ... a free gift from Taylored Expressions.

Be sure to look through my In Process photos to see how I easily lined up my turtle die with my mirror image turtle. There are other ways to do it but I bought the Cricut light board specifically for mirror image stamping over 5 years ago.
Well that does for me this week. Here are my In-Process photos for you to peruse. You'll find links to the products I used down below ⬇️
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you are inspired to get your interactive card products out and make someone's day with a card that moves, lights up and squishes!
See you next week!
xoxo, Deby 💕
