This is my Birthday month and I LOVE flowers in my garden and on my cards so I'm going to focus on creating at least 1 floral card each day and uploading it to my Instagram. 💕 May 8th Entry: Big, Beautiful Posies
I had almost forgotten I had these Foil-It panels until I was rifling through my Foil-It stash looking for something else then ran onto the Picked Posies panels a few days ago so sat them aside to create a card for my Month Of Flowers Blog posts.
I used Taylored Expressions Gold Fun Foil then die cut the large flower so the card would have some dimension and so the large flower would be more of a focal point.
I'm not a great colorist so 97.9% of the time I grab my PrismaColor pencils and Gamsol because they aren't as intimidating to me but on this card I actually got out several alcohol markers, took a deep breath and got to work!
After the coloring was done and the large flower adhered to 2 more cutouts I splattered it all with some Gansai Tambi gold, inked up and cut out the sentiment then adhered it all to some of my precious Macaron card stock then finished it off with some Clear Drip Drops.
One more Flower Card done and ready to hit the mailbox to brighten someone's day! ☀️
