🌸 May ... A Month of Flowers

This is my Birthday month and I LOVE flowers in my garden and on my cards so I'm going to focus on creating at least 1 floral card each day and uploading it to my Instagram. 💕 May 9th Entry: Sunflowers & Stripes

Whatcha Been Up To? What friend doesn't want to know you're thinking of them and what better way to let them know than sending a fun, bright reminder in the mail 📬.

For this card I grabbed the Taylored Expressions Layer-It - Sunflowers, some scrap pieces of card stock, coordinating inks and my detail blender brushes and created a few inked and layered sunflowers. Then I cut some strips of cardstock with the TE Easy Strips dies to create a landing strip for the left side of the card panel.

Once I had that all laid out it was still missing something so I hit the white card panel with some Gold Gansai Tambi splatter but even after doing that it still needed something so I rifled through my stash and found the Bits & Blooms stamp & die set from Virtual Stamp Joy 2024 and used the flower and dots stamps for the yellow inked flowers and green dots. That's EXACTLY what this card needed to feel compete!

I found the perfect sentiment using the Just Saying sentiment set, adhered it all together and one more card completed!

I threw this card together while I was on a Zoom continuing education class for my Real Estate business. Don't worry ... I paid enough attention to pass the Quiz at the end 😉! Do you craft while watching/listening to your favorite tv show or during Zoom meetings?
