🌺 May ... A Month of Flowers

This is my Birthday month and I LOVE flowers in my garden and on my cards so I'm going to focus on creating at least 1 floral card each day and uploading it to my Instagram. 💕 May 12th Entry: Petal Pop

For today's Month Of Flowers I'm using one of the new Taylored Expressions May GWP items... Petal Pop. I absolutely LOVE this die set 💙 with that big, fun 70's vibe flower and that super cute set of bees. What's not to love??!!??

I brought out a few background stamps to zhuzh this one up because that's how I roll ... lots of dimension, lots of layers and lots of visual interest.

For the card base and the flower I used the Wonky Grid background (just released last week).

For the front card panel I used the Twinkle Lights background stamp (released with last years Christmas products).

I dressed the cute little bees wings with some glitter for another fun element.

Then for the splatters on everything I used the Splatter background stamp with Sugar Cube ink. If you just can't get the hang of splattering your creations, use this background stamp. Easy Peasy!

To finish this one up I heat embossed a set of sentiments from the Mini Strips - Bee Mine stamp set. Then topped the flower center with a bunch of White Rhinestones then added 3 Clear Drip Drops near the sentiment.

And there you have it! One more Flower card done and ready to brighten someone's day 🌺
