The Joy of Personal Connection . . .

In today's world, where texting and emailing are the norms, the charm of writing letters and sending cards can feel like an overlooked joy. With so many instant communication options available, you might wonder why anyone would bother pulling out a pen and paper. The truth is, writing letters creates a personal bond that is difficult to replicate. When you invest time and effort into crafting a letter, you send a clear message that you value the relationship. For instance, a handwritten note to a childhood friend can bring back memories of shared experiences, making the recipient feel appreciated and loved. Isn't that why we spend time crafting cards? Why not include a heartfelt letter along with the next one you send?

Why am I writing a Blog article about writing? I'm so glad you asked! Today is the release of the newest Cardmaking Kit and it just happens to be about Writing!

Heather Nichols knocked it outta the park with this adorable Just Write cardmaking kit! The typewriter along with the fun stick pins, binder clips, the ink pen and ink blots lend to some seriously fun card making craftiness coming your way!

I focused on coordinating my 3 projects with blues and of course had to get some pink and purple in there too 😉. I fashioned the first card on the Left as if the typewriter is sitting on a table in a home office with beadboard and a textured wall. The new Cork background stamp gave the table some texture then there's the cute note being typed and coming up out of the carriage.

For the middle card I used the new Cork background stamp to give visual interest to the upper and lower edges of The Insider panel that I used for the front of the card.

And for the third card on the right I had fun using the Cork background stamp to great a framed cork board with a pinned note with a perfect message.
