🌸 Card Swap for Staycation Attendees

I didn't make it to the Taylored Expressions In Person Stamp Joy this year so decided to join in on the Card Swap with other Staycationers.

I thought it might be fun for those who received a card from me to see how it came together. If you didn't attend Staycation or receive a card from me, you're welcome to check them out and make one of the renditions anyway ... Either way, I'm excited you're here 😊

I wanted to use a floral design - if you know me you're rolling your eyes about now because "What else would Deby use?" 😂 To let you in on my secret .... my favorite cards either have flowers, plants or some kind of mixed media on them. And on top of that ... they usually have a shade of pink or purple on them too. That's me to a "T".

But getting back to the Staycation cards, I made 3 or 4 renditions of the cards as I made about 15 that I mailed out. Some were created and mailed to the 10 names I was assigned to, the rest went to a few others on the list (and a couple not on the list) that I wanted to share some JOY with.

Here's a few photos of the entire batch ...

I'll add some product links down below for you but first I'll share some In-Process photos for you so you can see how all these cards came together. Not unusual for me to change gears half-way through a project hence the 3, 4 or 5 renditions you'll see here.

Isn't it fun to see how one ink pad can produce so many different colors!?! That's what you see in these photos. Jujube with a light hand is a kind of pinkish color then with a more heavy hand, it takes on more of a dark maroon color. Do you play with your inks when ink blending? I love to see all the different shades one ink pad can produce!

As you can see, I used the Scattered Blooms cardmaking kit to create the flowers I embellished these cards with. That's another one of my favorite kits. And why wouldn't it be??? It's all about flowers! 🌸

I enjoyed creating these for my10 Staycation attendees and hope you enjoy seeing how they came together.

Here's that list of products I used. You'll find the products I used from the Taylored Expressions store with the exception of the GWP Bitty Bouquet stamp and stencil set and a few others that I noted in the list but you may have them so check your stash or use something you have that's similar.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Maybe you 'eyed' 👀 the card you received from me!
