T-B-T with Talking In Circles

As you may or may not know, I like to deviate and blaze my own path with most things in life 🫣 and my project with these Throw Back Thursday items is no different. 🤭 It may be unconventional in comparison to the other Design Team Members cards with this release but my hope is that it shows you that there are SO many other ways to use your products. ☺️

I created a stencil using the new Talking In Circles - Inverted Diamonds die, then ink blended onto a piece of card stock to create this fun and interesting panel for my card. (Please be sure to check out my In Process Photos to see the steps I took to get to the finished card.)

To create the striped panel I used one of the stamps from the Taylored Expressions Bold Border Blocks stamp set; stamping it once on the top of the panel and once again on the bottom, leaving the wide white center so my stenciled panel didn't get lost.

For a little more eye-candy and visual interest I used the Taylored Expressions Quilted Cutting Plate Die on the Mint Julep card base.

To embellish the card I used one of my favorite large word dies from the Taylored Expressions ~ Mega Messages Die Set – Hi Hey Hello along with the backer die to really make it pop! Then using the cut-out pieces from making my stencil, I popped those around the card to again give it a little more visual interest and dimension. Then finally I added the "Happy Birthday" from the Taylored Expressions sentiment Mini Strips - Birthday stamp set and hi-lighted it with 3 Sugar Cube Tiny Diamonds to draw the eye to that celebratory wish to the recipient.

And there you have it! an unconventional way to use one of the new products from today's Throw Back Thursday - Talking In Circles release!
